Ideal candidates for Botox are

Men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 who have “crow's feet” around you eyes and/or other unwanted wrinkles.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is an dynamic treatment for facial wrinkles in the forehead, between the eyes and in the “crows feet” areas (upper third of the face). Botox® Cosmetic works by weakening the muscles of facial expression that create those unwanted lines and wrinkles. As the muscles relax, the skin flattens and wrinkles fade away naturally.

The procedure only takes a few moments; discomfort is minimal and lasts only a few seconds. Dr. Thao will use his expertise to determine the amount of Botox® Cosmetic to produce the results you desire. After the procedure, you will relax in a recumbent position and listen to music for a period of approximately 15 minutes. Following treatment you should be able to return to almost any activity immediately.

Botox is different from Restylane. Botox is a drug that blocks nerve transmission and relaxes the underlying muscles. Restylane is a natural, cosmetic filler. Many patients have been very pleased after receiving treatment with both products.
