Due to the aging process, the skin in your upper arms has become less elastic. An arm lift or brachioplasty will produce thinner, more attractive and youthful upper arms .

Your Arm Lift Surgery
Your surgery is performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. Excess skin and fatty tissue are removed. Liposuction may be performed to achieve a smoother result and/or reduce the amount of fat in the upper arms. You will return home wearing a compression garment and/or dressings. Discomfort is easily controlled with oral medication. You may experience soreness and tightness in the upper arms, bruising, and minor swelling. The initial healing period varies from approximately one to two weeks.
